FREE summer programs

The Fond du Lac Public Library has free events all summer in conjunction with its “Travel the World, Page by Page” themed summer reading programs. Programs coming up are:

  • Monday, July 11, 2 p.m. and repeated at 3:30 p.m.: “One World, Many Seas” with singer-sailor Tom Kastle. For all ages. Songs and tales of life on the high seas from Spain, Netherlands, England and the South Pacific. Space is limited; free ticket required and available starting Tuesday, July 5, at the Children’s Desk. Monday events also scheduled for July 18 and July 25.
  • Monday, July 18, 2 p.m. and repeated at 3:30 p.m.: "The Magic of Jim Mitchell." A magical journey based on world history and exploration. Space is limited; free ticket required and available starting Tuesday, July 12, at the Children's Desk. 
  • Every Thursday through July 21: Family Storytime, 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. All ages invited to enjoy stories, flannel board stories, finger rhymes, music and lots of movement. 2 year olds & younger must be accompanied by an adult. No registration.
  • Every Thursday through July 21: Lunch Bunch Drop-In, noon to 1 p.m. Kids ages 6-12 invited to bring a bag lunch and enjoy stories and activities. Beverage provided. No registration.
