The annual Holiday Wine Tasting, organized by Cujak's Wine Market, will be held 5-7 pm Saturday, November 9, at Fox Valley Savings Bank. The event again will benefit the Fond du Lac Public Library’s 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten literacy program.

Kids can just drop in at the McLane Room in the library’s lower level after school lets out early for the day to enjoy snacks, a movie, crafts and fun in a relaxed atmosphere.

Bring it to the November 4 meeting of the Fond du Lac Genealogical Society, when local Secrets of the Ledge author and “archeo-historian” Dwight Weiser will take a look.

Using upcycled book pages, ribbon and a few beads, crafters will make a retro-cool Holiday Greeting Bunting at 1 p.m. Saturday, November 16.
