The Fond du Lac Public Library will hold its annual Mega-Zine Sale the first week of January at Chapter 52 Bookstore. Bundles of magazines from 2014 will be sold for 50 cents each and will include such popular titles as Vanity Fair, Shape, Outdoor Life, Country Living, Sports Illustrated, Reader’s Digest and Wisconsin Sportsman.
In a program to mark January as Human Trafficking Awareness Month, Trafficking and the Pornography Industry, will be presented at 6 p.m. Monday, January 9, at the Fond du Lac Public Library. The program is free; no registration required.

Often persons living with Alzheimer’s disease become isolated. Going out to see friends or socializing becomes daunting. But since personal interaction is a healthy way to keep the disease at bay, the Alzheimer’s Association provides Memory Cafés to offer a solution.

The Fond du Lac Public Library, with a little help from its friends, will provide guidance, support and tips needed to make 2017 a great year with its Fresh Start series, January through April, at 1 p.m. on the second Thursday of the month.
