FDL Visual Arts member show in Dec

The 21 members of Fond du Lac Visual Arts have collaborated in a show aptly named “21,” at the Fond du Lac Public Library gallery through December. Each member submitted two works, and the range is vast. Jewelry, ceramics, watercolor, collage, oils … it’s a multimedia exhibit that showcases the diversity of the group.

The public is invited to a meet-the-artists reception at the gallery 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, December 8. Light refreshments will be served and information about Fond du Lac Visual Arts will be available.

Fond du Lac Visual Arts was formed in 2010 as a professional artists’ collaborative devoted to art awareness and education, to the development and enhancement of artists’ skills and to strengthening the connection to arts and commerce in Fond du Lac.

The group serves as curator of the library’s gallery. They work with local and regional artists and arts groups to plan exhibits for the space. They can be reached at www.facebook.com/fonddulacvisualarts.
