New Year: New financial start

Every time the calendar rolls over, many people resolve to do a better job saving more and spending less. The Fond du Lac Public Library’s Money Smart U program will offer a great start with It’s a New Year: Where's Your Money Going? at 6 p.m. Tuesday, January 11.

Shelley Tidemann will present ways to get better control of your money, including setting up a spending plan. Tidemann is the Family Living Educator for Fond du Lac County UW-Extension and focuses on financial literacy, tenant housing education, family strengthening education and leadership education.

The class is free and will take place in the McLane Meeting Room in the main library’s lower level. Registration is appreciated but not required at the Calendar or by calling (920) 929-7080, ext. 118.
