Learn a great back-to-school project – a three-color standard-size pillowcase – while getting trained on the serger at the Fond du Lac Public Library’s Idea Studio at 4 p.m. Thursday, August 31. The class is open to adults and teens age 13 and older. The class is free, but attendees are required to bring their own fabric. Registration is required and begins at 9:30 a.m.
Mandalas can be thought of as circles within circles; they represent the cosmos, the self and unity. The Fond du Lac Public Library will offer a repeat of the relaxing Mandala Stones painting program at 6 p.m. Wednesday, August 23. All supplies provided. The Fond du Lac Public Library’s Idea Studio has two 3-D printers. To help trained users get more fun out of the machines, the library is offering a program teaching 3-D design on TinkerCAD at 1 p.m. Saturday, August 12. TinkerCAD, is a free web-based 3-D computer-aided design application designed for beginners.

Summer Reading @ the Library ends on Saturday, August 12, which is the last day that participating kids, teens and adults can turn in their completed reading cards for rewards at the Fond du Lac Public Library.
