2-part Beginning Genealogy class

It’s easy to get lost amid the myriad online resources that cater to people filling in their family trees. The Fond du Lac Public Library will hold a two-part class, Beginning Genealogy: Using FDLPL Online Resources. Part one is Tuesday, February 7; part two is Tuesday, February 21; and both are held from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the McLane Meeting Room in the lower level.

Library staff will demonstrate how to find information on several online genealogical resources, including Ancestry Library Edition, HeritageQuest and FamilySearch.org. Also covered will be other library resources that can be helpful in searching family histories in the Fond du Lac area.

Space is limited, and registration is required. To register, visit the Calendar or call the Reference Desk at (920) 929-7080, ext. 118.
