Artwork by students kindergarten through eighth grade will be featured in the exhibit, A Taste of Art from Faith Lutheran School, at the library's Langdon Divers Gallery through February.

The exhibit includes watercolors, painted paper collages, oil pastels, weaving, ceramics and glass mosaics, as well as Faith Art Gallery winners from the past graduating classes.

The student artists and their instructors will hold a public reception at the gallery on Thursday, February 28, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Refreshments will be served.

The library’s gallery is open during regular library hours: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday.

The exhibit is presented by Fond du Lac Visual Arts, which is curator of the library’s gallery. Fond du Lac Visual Arts was formed in 2010 by local professional artists and is devoted to art awareness and education, development and enhancement of artists’ skills and strengthening connections between art and commerce in the Fond du Lac area.

Agree!

You should see it - and the other works - in person. Amazing stuff!

Wake up!

I thought this was a piece of art by Eric Carle! This girl should be illustrating children's books! And probably writing them!
