Credit score class March 14

A person’s credit score – and its accuracy – can affect purchasing, loan rates and sometimes job prospects. The library will present a Money Smart U class, How to Build and Improve Your Credit Score, at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 14.

Tammy Matzdorf, program director of Consumer Credit Counseling Service, will discuss how to improve a credit score, clean up credit and how to obtain a free credit report. Matzdorf has degrees in Accounting and Education.

The class is free and open to the public. Registration is appreciated but not required at the Calendar or by calling the Reference Desk at (920) 929-7080, ext. 118.

Money Smart U is a series of workshops on investing and personal finance at the Fond du Lac Public Library.
