Find 3 smart friends for Team Trivia

What’s the only bird that can see the color blue? In which Wisconsin town was the ice cream sundae invented? What’s the only number with letters in alphabetical order?

These questions just might pop up at the 12th annual Team Trivia March 6 and March 8 at Whispering Springs Golf Club. Teams of four pay $100 to play at the event that benefits Fond du Lac Literacy Services.

You don’t have to be a genius to play. The fun is in getting together with friends and trying to come up with answers to questions on music, movies, history, sports, literature, geography, science and Wisconsin. At the end of the game, scores are tallied and awards are given to the top three teams. The first-place team on March 6 will be invited back to compete – for free – on March 8. Teams can buy one “answer” per game, for $10. These come in very handy when a really tough question comes up.

The event includes a cash bar and a $13.50 per person soup and sub buffet. Dinner is served at 5:30 p.m., and the quizzing begins at 6:30 p.m.
