City Council candidates' forum March 15

Six candidates are vying for four open City Council seats in the April 3 municipal election. The Fond du Lac Public Library, in cooperation with local media, will hold a candidates’ forum at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 15.

The candidates will face questions from a panel of local journalists in a session moderated by Marty Ryan, former councilman and council president. The candidates also will address their backgrounds, qualifications, personal histories and reasons for seeking local office.

The six candidates for City Council are: Lee Ann Lorrigan, Gary Miller, John J. Piper III, Jim Sabel, Daniel Sitter and Rob Vande Zande. Miller, Sabel and Vande Zande are incumbents.

The forum will be held in the McLane Meeting Room, in the main library’s lower level. It is open to the public, and no registration is required.
