De-clutter your way to a better world

It can be hard to toss a stack of papers you just might need or that snappy jacket waiting to come back in style. But clutter is the nemesis of the devoted spring cleaner.

Time to get organized. At 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 27, the Fond du Lac Public Library is offering, “Organizing Your Home, Mind and Spirit Through De-cluttering.”

Professional organizer Sandra Peterson, of Sherwood, will discuss the reasons behind clutter and what clutter costs us. She’ll offer tips and solutions for getting organized, how to simplify, taming paperwork clutter and how to stay motivated on your journey toward a more-organized home, mind and spirit.

As a bonus, Peterson will offer a door prize to one lucky attendee: one free hour of her services.

Peterson writes a monthly column on organizing and de-cluttering for Women Magazine. She frequently offers classes and seminars throughout the region for a variety of organizations and health care companies.

Space is limited, and registration is appreciated but not required at the Calendar or by calling the library’s Help Desk at (920) 929-7080, ext. 131.
