Get your 'I Bark for Books' T-shirt

To help celebrate National Library Week, the Friends of the Fond du Lac Public Library will be selling I Bark for Books T-shirts sporting the smiling face of Browser, the library’s furry mascot. The T-shirts will be sold for $8 in the library’s lobby from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. April 9 through April 13.

Along with the T-shirt sales, Friends volunteers will be conducting a membership drive. Anyone who renews their membership or signs up for the first time will be entered into a drawing for a Kindle e-reader.

The Friends is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and encouraging use of library services, assisting with volunteer services and special events and providing informative programs for the community.

“We all know the many, many things the Fond du Lac Library does for us,” said Friends Board President Earl Jewett. “What can we do in return? Join the Friends of the Library and help support the many library programs.”

Starting April 9, Browser T-shirts also will be sold in The BookCellar, the library’s used books and more store, during operating hours: Mondays noon to 7 p.m. and Saturdays 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
