To help 3-D printer buffs get more fun out of the cool machines, the Fond du Lac Public Library’s Idea Studio is offering two sessions teaching 3-D design on TinkerCAD at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 10, and repeated at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 22. TinkerCAD is a free web-based 3-D computer-aided design application designed for beginners.

The project to install new carpeting at the downtown Fond du Lac Public Library will force the closure of the Children’s Room for several days starting Monday, February 19. It is expected to reopen by Sunday, February 25.
