Teens + dreams + prizes = great summer reading program

If you don’t dream big dreams when you’re a teen, then when? Reading stokes the imagination, propelling into new worlds, new ideas and new possibilities. The Fond du Lac Public Library’s summer reading program for teens (kids going into seventh through 12th grades) will encourage young readers to follow and discover new dreams through reading.

Starting June 4, participating teens get credit for every day they read 30 minutes or more. Any kind of reading counts – books, magazines, blogs, audio books, etc. Teens get prizes as they go and earn Reading Bucks to redeem for larger prizes such as gift cards to favorite restaurants and ear buds. Kids who complete three reading slips are entered into a big prize drawing when the program closes August 18.

Teens can sign up for the reading program at the Reference Desk on the second floor of the Main Library.

Along with earning reading rewards, the teens are invited to come to the Main Library for programs. All are free, no registration required.
