Flooding causes BookCellar closure

A burst pipe in the lower level of the Fond du Lac Public Library will cause The BookCellar to close on Saturday, July 28, and Monday, July 30. The library plans to reopen the store on Saturday, August 4.

The flooding occurred sometime during Wednesday’s overnight storm that dropped about 2 ½ inches of rain on Fond du Lac. Some of the meeting rooms are closed temporarily for cleanup, but all other library programs and services are operating as normal.

The BookCellar is normally open every Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and every Monday noon to 7 p.m. with used materials for all ages at deep discounts.
