Mondays on the Moon now double the fun

Heavy demand and a generous gift from the Friends of the Fond du Lac Public Library have combined to double the fun on Mondays.

Second shows have been added to the library’s Mondays on the Moon programs – entertainment and fun for all ages. The shows are free, but tickets are required and available the Tuesday before performances from the Children’s Desk at the Main Library.

Each show now has a 1 p.m. performance and a 2:30 p.m. performance:

  • July 9: Rondini the Magician.
  • July 16: Incredible Live Bats. See these amazing creatures up close.
  • July 23: Miller and Mike. Former clowns from Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey circus perform.
  • July 30: Casey and Greg. Madison musicians perform high-energy songs.

Along with the extra Monday performances, the library has added a second meeting of the Lego Club. Kids ages 7-12 are invited at 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. or 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesdays in July to build Lego structures and learn about building concepts. No adults or younger children may attend. Registration is required for each weekly session, either online or by calling the Children’s Desk at (920) 929-7080, ext. 127.

Summer reading programs, with the theme Dream Big: Read, offer rewards for reading for children, teens and adults and run through August 18. Additional information is available online or by calling the Help Desk at (920) 929-7080, ext. 131.
