Regional artists' show in October
The annual Wisconsin Regional Art Program show returns to the Fond du Lac Public Library gallery in October.
The show will be complemented by a drawing workshop, Creativity from the Inside Out, conducted by Leah Klapperich, an instructor of expressive and therapeutic arts at Marian University, 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, October 27. The workshop will be followed by Klapperich’s critique of the work in the exhibit from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. The workshop and critique are free and open to the public.
The Wisconsin Regional Art Program was established in 1940 to encourage nonprofessional artists to develop their abilities through shows, critiques and workshops around the state.
The October exhibit is presented by the Fond du Lac Artists Association. The library gallery is curated by Fond du Lac Visual Arts, a professional arts group devoted to art awareness and education, development and enhancement of artists’ skills and strengthening connections between art and commerce in the Fond du Lac area.
