New Storytimes schedule for 2013

Storytimes at the Fond du Lac Public Library are an immensely popular drop-in program for parents and young children. Kids think the sessions – full of stories, rhymes and songs – are a lot of fun. Parents know they reinforce and emphasize important early literacy skills.

All programs are free; no registration required:

Family Storytime at FDLPL Express: Storytime comes to the library branch near Festival Foods. All ages invited on (new time) Wednesdays at 2:30 p.m. for stories, songs and more. Program changes weekly. Parents encouraged to stay with their children; children ages 5 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.

Preschool Storytime: For children ages 3-5. Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:30 a.m. Fun books, songs and more. Program changes weekly. Parents encouraged to stay with their children; children ages 5 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.

Toddler Storytime: For caregivers and children ages 3 and younger. Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. Simple books, songs and more. Program changes weekly. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

PJ Storytime: All ages are welcome to come to the Children’s Room in their coziest getup – blankets and teddy bears too – at 6 p.m. on Wednesdays to get comfy, listen to stories and sing fun songs. Children ages 5 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
