March into big sales at The BookCellar

The city’s only used book store, the Fond du Lac Public Library’s BookCellar, is holding two great sales in March.

To celebrate the annual Read Across America Day, all teen books and kids’ chapter books will be 25 cents each on Saturday, March 2, and Monday, March 4.

The store’s annual Dial M for March sale will be March 11, 16 and 18, with all mysteries and thrillers half price.

The BookCellar, located in the lower level of the library, sells used books, movies, music and magazines for all ages at deep discounts. Most hardcover books are $1, paperbacks and kids’ books are 50 cents. Hours: Mondays from noon to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The store is run primarily by volunteers, and proceeds benefit library programming.
