It's raining savings at BookCellar

It’s raining bargains at the Fond du Lac Public Library’s BookCellar. The city’s only used book store is holding two great sales in April:

April 6 No Foolin’ Sale: Free magazine with every purchase of an audio book.

April 15 and April 20 Sideshow Sale: Three paperbacks for $1 (some restrictions apply). This sale is being held to celebrate National Library Week (April 14-20). The library is holding a Big Top: The Greatest Library Event party from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 20.

The BookCellar, located in the lower level of the library, sells used books, movies, music and magazines for all ages at deep discounts. Most hardcover books are $1, paperbacks and kids’ books are 50 cents. Hours: Mondays from noon to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The BookCellar is run primarily by volunteers, who spend time helping customers, sorting books, creating displays and restocking shelves. Persons interested in helping at the fun and funky shop are encouraged to call (920) 322-3951 or visit the BookCellar page.
