The New Thriller by Lisa Gardner is Outstanding

Touch and Go, the new thriller by Lisa Gardner, can only be described as an edge-of-your seat thrill ride. The story features the kidnapping of a high-flying CEO Justin Denbe, along with his wife, Libby, and their teenage daughter Ashlyn. The Denbe's have the kind of life you read about in the pages of a glossy magazine; a gorgeous brownstone on a tree-lined street in Boston's Back Bay neighborhood, a great marriage, a perfect life. One evening, after Justin and Libby return from a romantic dinner, three men invade their home, abduct both parents and their child, and spirit the three of them away to an empty prison in northern New Hampshire. It is up to private investigator Tessa Leoni to rescue them, but to do that she must discover their innermost secrets and race against the clock to rescue them before their perfect life goes up in smoke.

So, what did the kidnappers want, and why did they take this family? What I loved about this book is how the mystery is played out in layers that slowly reveal more and more about each member of the family and the kidnappers. Just when I thought I knew the story, I would start the next chapter and it would blow my theory out the water. Gardner's latest thriller is nail-biting until the very last page.
