Express open 7 days/week starting May 1

Hours at FDLPL Express, the branch of the Fond du Lac Public Library located near Festival Foods, will change effective May 1.

The branch will be open seven days a week: 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. The branch previously had been closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

The schedule for Family Storytime at Express will change as well. Starting May 1, the all-ages session of stories and songs will take place at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesdays. There’s no registration required; just drop in.

May marks the date when the Main Library downtown switches to summer hours, with the library closed on Sundays. The library resumes Sunday hours in October.

FDLPL Express features a “to-go” collection of materials, emphasizing best sellers and new releases, a sizable children’s corner and materials to help with busy lives, featuring cooking, crafting, home repair and more. Patrons are able to access the computer catalog, place holds and pick up materials.

Fond du Lac Public Library supports a high quality of life in Fond du Lac through reading, lifelong learning and community involvement. There are three locations: Main Library, 32 Sheboygan St.; FDLPL Express; and Journeys at St. Agnes, inside the hospital.
