Buses to Books extended through August

The city Transit Dept. has extended the Buses to Books program through the month of August.

Every Thursday, kids ages 6 to 17 can ride to and from the Fond du Lac Public Library for free when show their library cards. Kids ages 6 to 9 must be accompanied by an adult; adults pay full fare.

Buses to Books has been an annual adjunct of the library’s summer reading program. The program this year, Dig Into Reading, is open to all ages and is in full swing. Readers are invited to register in person at any library location or online.
