The Fond du Lac Public Library’s Idea Studio will be starting a Ukulele Club after the New Year. To get everyone ready, the library, in conjunction with uke instructor Stan Kocos, will offer lessons for beginners starting in November.
The Fond du Lac Artists’ Association annual membership show will be held in the Fond du Lac Public Library’s Langdon Divers Gallery November 2 to December 6, highlighting artists of the year Faye Barber-Schmuhl and Kirk Dille. The public is invited to a reception and critique 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, November 16, in the library’s McLane Room.
The Idea Studio has two 3-D printers. To help trained users get more fun out of the machines, the library is offering two programs teaching 3-D design on TinkerCAD at 6 p.m. Tuesday, October 11, and repeated at 6 p.m. Monday, October 24. TinkerCAD, is a free web-based 3-D computer-aided design application designed for beginners.
