Teen crafts at Walleye Weekend

Friends of the Fond du Lac Public Library will be running the Teen Art Village at Walleye Weekend June 7, 8 and 9. Teens can drop in and try their hand at these crafts and art projects:

  • Pull Tab Bracelet (pictured)
  • Crinkle Fan (pictured)
  • Blackout Poetry: Blacking out words you don't want on upcycled book pages to create striking poetry
  • Book Page Art: Upcycled book pages become the canvas for creativity

In addition, visitors can sign up early for the library’s summer program, Dig Into Reading, which runs June 10 to August 3.

The Teen Art Village is located on Oven Island near the Quarry Quest Treasure Hunt and Michels World of Wild Animals. Hours of operation are: Friday, June 7: 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday, June 8: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Sunday, June 9: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
