It all starts with a locker . . .
It all starts with the locker
Picture this: You're walking into school. You approach your new locker. It's dull. It's boring. It's probably dirty.
Hang on. It doesn't have to stay that way. Teens in grades 6-12 should stop in 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, September 14, to put some personality into that bland metal box. Make cool gadgets to glam it up or rock it out. Just attending enters you in a drawing for a Back to School Survival Kit, complete with delicious candy.
Pump Up Your Locker is just the first of several great teen programs this fall:
In October, we'll be celebrating Teen Read Week with mummies, a candy challenge and more.
November will bring the Teen Iron Chef Challenge, just in time for the release of the second Hunger Games movie.
Like what you read? Have awesome ideas, too? Be in the know and bring your ideas to the table by joining our Teen Library Council. Simply come to our next meeting on Saturday, September 7 at 1 p.m.
