Cozy up to BookCellar sales in Nov

The city’s only used book store, the Fond du Lac Public Library’s BookCellar, is holding two great sales in November.

The Ten Cent Special on Saturdays, November 2 and November 9, and Monday, November 4, will offer select retro and vintage cookbooks, craft books, magazines and more for just 10 cents each.

On Saturday, November 23, and Monday, November 25, get your items to go at the Tape Out Sale: all VHS videotapes are half off (regularly 50 cents). The selection includes kids and family movies, feature films and nonfiction/documentaries.

The BookCellar, located in the lower level of the library, sells used books, movies, music and magazines for all ages at deep discounts. Most hardcover books are $1, paperbacks and kids’ books are 50 cents. Hours: Mondays from noon to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The store is run primarily by volunteers, and proceeds benefit library programming.
