Got a question? Book a Librarian

Ever wish you had someone at your elbow to teach you stuff? Like how to use that new e-reader. Maybe digging into your family tree. Or just getting more comfortable with the internet. You can, now, with the new Book a Librarian program at the Fond du Lac Public Library.

Through Book a Librarian, anyone can schedule a free, one-on-one individualized session with a reference librarian who will offer assistance on technology-related or research questions. Book a Librarian cannot provide medical, legal or business advice or opinions, and librarians cannot proofread documents or troubleshoot technological problems on your devices.

But they can offer help on all kinds of research and on technology as it relates to library resources. Schedule a 30-minute Book a Librarian session by calling the Reference Desk at (920) 322-3930 or stop by the desk on the second floor of the Main Library.

Copies of newspaper articles?

Hi,
I have relatives that lived in Fond du Lac in the early 1900s. There was an article published about a governor named Nathaniel Talmadge (or Tallmadge) and I wanted to know if there was a way to get a copy of it. Do you know if you have it?

His first name might have been Benjamin also.

Thank you.
Margaret Seligson

nee Walters, nee Northam, nee Talmadge
