No-Sew Scarves Crafternoon sign-up starts March 1
Crafters should bring two washed T-shirts (sizes L and XL work best) to No-Sew Scarves Crafternoon at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 15, at the Fond du Lac Public Library. Space is limited, and registration is required beginning at 9 a.m. March at the Calendar or by calling the Help Desk at (920) 322-3929.
Crafters will make a Multi-Strand Scarf and a Fringed Scarf using just scissors and their T-shirts. Crafters are invited to bring their own sewing shears, if they have them. Scissors will be provided.
Crafternoon takes place every third Saturday of the month with a different make-and-take project for adults and teens in middle school and older. Supplies are provided. It was inspired by a similar program at the New York Public Library that’s run by Maura Madden, who wrote, Crafternoon: A Guide to Getting Artsy and Crafty with Your Friends All Year Long.
