April sales at The BookCellar

Spring might be elusive, but sales are popping up all over at The BookCellar at the Fond du Lac Public Library, the city’s only used book store:

Saturday, April 12: Play It Again, all recreation and sports books half price.

Monday, April 21: Earth Day, buy-one, get one free from the natural science section.

Saturday, April 26 and Monday, April 28, Biography Bonanza, choose from a huge selection of biographies and memoirs, just 25 cents.

Note: The BookCellar will be closed Saturday, April 19, for the Easter weekend.

The BookCellar is open Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Mondays from noon to 7 p.m. The shop, in the lower level of the Main Library downtown, is run primarily by volunteers. It sells used books, movies, magazines and music for all ages at deep discounts. A selection of rare and collectors’ items are available as well. Proceeds benefit library programming.

The shop accepts donations of used materials in good condition. Donations should be labeled as such and can be dropped off at the library’s Main Desk or in the drive-through book return bin.
