Teen summer events 2014

Teens in grades 6 through 12 are welcome to come to the library to enjoy free Reading is Brain Food summer programming

Beam Me Up: Teen Kickoff Party: 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 10. Make a constellation jar, play Blacklight Twister, create a glow-in-the-dark mural and sign up for summer reading. With snacks. No registration.

Summer Youth Volunteer Fair: 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 11. Kids from age 8 through high school can learn about a wide variety of summer volunteer available at local organizations. No registration required. Co-sponsored by the Volunteer Center of Fond du Lac County.

Tuesdays at the Movies: 1 p.m. with fun activities and snacks.

Scientific Pizza Wrap-Up Party: 1 p.m. Saturday, August 16. Take a blind taste test, vote for your favorite local pizza and crown the teens’ favorite. Watch the drawing for summer mega prizes, including movie theater basket, “Cupcake Wars” basket, ice cream sundae basket, “Divergent” basket, anime basket, pool side basket and more.
