Intro to 3-D Printing

They’re all the rage, but what can 3-D printers really do and how do they work?

Intro to 3-D Printing at 6 p.m. Thursday, July 10, will show 3-D printers in action and offer a discussion about these remarkable machines. The program is free and open to adults and children middle school and older. Space is limited and registration is required starting at 9 a.m. Monday, June 30, at the Calendar or by calling (920) 322-3929.

The program will be presented by Tim Bertram, a local technology and 3-D printing enthusiast with more than three years’ experience in 3-D printing and education.

Bertram will cover how 3-D printing works, the different types of 3-D printers and what they’re used for. There will be time for questions and getting a close-up view of the printers in action.
