Agatha Christie’s Hercule Poirot returns

The estate of Agatha Christie authorized this new book The Monogram Murders by Sophie Hannah. If you are a fan of Agatha Christie, you will enjoy this new tale featuring the sleuth Hercule Poirot. Poirot is at Pleasant’s Coffee House when a woman named Jennie comes in and tells him she is afraid that she will be murdered and that she deserves to die. She leaves hurriedly, and that night when Poirot sees his new friend from Scotland Yard, Edward Catchpool, Poirot learns that there were three murders at the Bloxham Hotel. Each of the victims was carefully laid out, and each one had a monogrammed cufflink in the mouth. Poirot believes Jennie and the three murders are related. The story takes many twists and turns as Poirot discovers that the murders involved a scandal in the town of Great Hollings sixteen years ago. A convoluted and intriguing story that will put your little gray cells to work.
