'Ultimate Cheapskate' shares tips April 25

The “Ultimate Cheapskate” Jeff Yeager will present Finding Wholesale Happiness in a Retail World, at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 25, at the Fond du Lac Public Library. He’ll give tips on how to spend less and enjoy life as the final event in the annual Money Smart Week celebration. The program is free. No registration required.

Yeager spent 24 years as senior executive before launching his career as a freelance writer, public speaker and media personality in 2004. He’s written four books on frugal living and has been a guest on the TODAY Show, CNN, ABC News, PBS and dozens of other television and radio networks. He will have copies of his most-recent book, How to Retire the Cheapskate Way, available at his talk for sale and signing.

Money Smart Week Wisconsin, April 18-25, is an annual initiative of the Governor’s Council on Financial Literacy, in partnership with the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. The one-week campaign promotes the importance of financial literacy and provides hundreds of financial education events and courses.
