Summer 2015 programs for kids

There’s a full roster of great events for kids this summer at the Fond du Lac Public Library. Full details are available at the Calendar.

Mega-Mondays: Professional entertainers come for two shows, 10 a.m. and repeated at 1 p.m. For all ages. Free tickets are required and are available from the Children’s Desk at the Main Library starting the Tuesday before the performance. The lineup:

o June 15 Steve Russell, juggling, magic, comedy and good, clean fun

o June 22 Bob Kann, stories and fun

o June 29 Glen Gerard, magic and comedy

o July 6 Dave Landau, fun music and dancing. Landau was voted 2013 Best Kids Entertainment by Madison Magazine.

o July 13 Homeschool Performing Arts Club, scenes from “Poisoned Apple”

o July 20 Magic Morgan, you’ll be amazed

o August 3 Chris Fascione, storyteller

I Got Rhythm: 10 a.m. Wednesdays June 17 through August 5. Ages 2-6. An engaging and vibrant program with music, movement and books. Free tickets are required and available starting the Tuesday a week before each program at the Children’s Desk.

Techie Tuesdays: Every Tuesday in July at 1 p.m. Ages 7-12. Get in the tech zone with hands-on, creative projects. Some involve mechanics, some don’t, but all are maker-y. Free tickets are required and available starting on the Tuesday a week before the program at the Children’s Desk.

o July 14 LED Critters and Popcorn Racers

o July 21 Pipe Cleaner Ninjas and Marshmallow Shooters

o July 28 Styro Mania (packing peanut construction)

Voice and Acting Studio Presents Frozen: Friday, July 10, at 10 a.m. and repeated at 1 p.m. For all ages. A mash-up of Frozen music and interactive theater scenes. Free tickets are required and available starting on June 30 at the Children’s Desk.
