FDL Artists Association show Nov 4-Dec 2

Fond du Lac Artists Association will showcase the diverse talents of its members November 4 through December 2 at the Fond du Lac Public Library Langdon Divers Gallery. The exhibit will showcase Artist of the Year Roxine McQuitty.

The public will be encouraged to vote for their favorite piece in the show; ballots will be available in the gallery. The public also is invited to a reception at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, November 12, in the gallery, which will be followed by a critique by Mark Merline from Marian University at 6 p.m. in the McLane Meeting Room.

The mission of the association is to encourage the creative growth and education of area artists and youth, and to promote art appreciation and community awareness of local talent in the field of the visual arts.

The library’s gallery is a showcase for local and regional artists. The space is curated by volunteer artist Mel Kolstad, who can be reached at [email protected].
