'Pieces, Paint and Passions' in gallery in Jan

Pieces, Paint and Passions, an exhibit in mixed media by Fond du Lac artist Bonnie Ann Gleason-Federman, will be on display at the Fond du Lac Public Library’s Langdon Divers Gallery from January 6 through February 3.

The public is invited to a reception 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, January 14, at the gallery. Refreshments will be served.

Gleason-Federman, who has more than 30 years of experience in commercial art and design and is owner of Moondoggie Studio of Fond du Lac, which provides creative interior art and design services. She can be reached through her website, www.moondoggiestudio.com.

In her artist’s statement, she writes, “As I paint, every new piece of art presents me with a chance to discover, to think, to create, to ponder the past and be amazed about the future, how colors, paints and paper overlap and create a complete story, words and all. Art and life.”

The library’s gallery is a showcase for local and regional artists. The space is curated by volunteer artist Mel Kolstad, who can be contacted at [email protected].
