Teen programs in Feb: Council, Pizza & Pages

The Fond du Lac Public Library has two programs for teens in grades 6 through 12 in January:

  • Teen Library Council meets Feb 14 and every second Sunday of the month at 1 p.m. through the school year. The voluntary group meets to talk about the books, movies and music they like and to advise library staff on programs teens would find fun and interesting. Serving on the council, which acts as an advisory board to the library, satisfies community service and volunteer requirements at many schools. With snacks. Free; no registration required.
  • Pizza & Pages at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 17, will meet to talk about the book Life As We Knew It, by Susan Beth Pfeffer. Teens will munch pizza and participate in a "survival" activity. The program is free; no registration required. Pizza & Pages meets the third Wednesday of the month. Featured books are available for checkout now at the downtown library’s Main Desk. Coming up on March 16, Heist Society by Ally Carter.

More information is available by calling the Children’s Desk at (920) 322-3940.
