Soups & Chowders Recipe Swap Feb 24

Brrrrrr. If there ever was soup weather, it’s this winter. Soups come in so many flavors, varieties and styles, they’re perfect for a recipe swap potluck at the Fond du Lac Public Library.

At 6 p.m. Wednesday, February 24, recipe swappers must bring a batch of their favorite soup or chowder (already heated up) and a copy of the recipe. All swappers will sample and vote on their favorites. A door prize will go to the cook with the most-popular dish.

All the recipes will be compiled and shared with attendees. The evening will include a fun winter trivia game.

The library will provide bowls, cutlery, napkins and water. Cooks need to bring service utensils and must bring their soups in containers or cookers that will keep them hot. Since the sampling will begin right away, soups must be warm and ready to eat on arrival.

soup

what is the recommended quantity to bring?

quantity?

I suggest one batch, which usually will serve 6-8 people. There's no way to know for sure how many will be attending.
