Life’s a game at Apr 27 Memory Café

Persons with early to mid-stage Alzheimer’s disease or other types of dementia, their caregivers and family members are invited to monthly Alzheimer’s Association Memory Cafés held at 1 p.m. the fourth Thursday of the month at the Fond du Lac Public Library. The programs are free; no registration required. Each month features a new theme:

April 27: Games, puzzles and trivia. Enjoying games and brainteasers can lead to improvements in everyday mental abilities. The resources are endless. We’ll play some and share many more. With handouts.

Coming May 25: Bird, Bugs, Bees and Butterflies. What’s the buzz? We’ll have an enjoyable time delighting in the sights and sounds of Mother Nature as she wakes after a long winter’s nap.

Memory Cafés are sponsored by the Alzheimer’s Association; Legacies: Family and Organizational Historians; and the Fond du Lac Public Library. For more information about Memory Cafés or Alzheimer's disease, contact the Alzheimer’s Association 24/7 Helpline at (800) 272-3900.
