November kids’ events at FDL Library

Great stuff is happening for kids at the Fond du Lac Public Library in November:

  • Extra Storytime: Toddlers love them so much that the library has added a third Storytime session for ages 2 and under, at 9:30 a.m. Thursdays starting November 2. This session is in addition to the Tuesday and Wednesday Toddler Storytimes at 9:30 a.m.
  • Half-Day Party: Kids in Fond du Lac School District get out early on the first Friday of the month, and lucky them: the 1-3:30 p.m. November 3 Half-Day Party will celebrate Dia de los Muertos. Kids ages 6-12 and their families are invited to do a fun activity to learn more about the Mexican holiday, play bingo, eat snacks and watch the movie The Book of Life (PG). Free. No registration. Parents of kids younger than 8 must remain with their children.
  • Treasure hunt: During Thanksgiving week, November 20-26, kids are invited to play the Find-the-Turkey treasure hunt in the Children's Room. Turkeys in disguise will be hiding throughout the room, and kids who find them all get a prize.
  • Gobble-a-Break: On Black Friday, November 24, kids can take a break from the hustle and bustle to enjoy Gobble-a-Break, 1-3 p.m. Families and kids ages 12 and younger can relax, watch the movie Cars 3 (G) and munch snacks. Parents of kids younger than 8 must remain with their children. Free. No registration.
