Memory Café brings the funny Mar 22

Persons with early to mid-stage Alzheimer’s disease or other types of dementia, their caregivers and family members are invited to monthly Alzheimer’s Association Memory Cafés held at 1 p.m. the fourth Thursday of the month at the Fond du Lac Public Library. The programs are free; no registration required. Each month features a new theme:

  • March 22: April Fool’s Day Comes Early. Come with your favorite joke and be prepared to laugh (or groan).
  • April 26: Earth Day. What are you doing for Earth Day? What do others do around the world? Join us to create Earth Day traditions (and maybe even paint a tree).
  • May 24: Words are Wonderful. Let’s brainstorm new words by mixing, matching and challenging ourselves.
  • June 28: Dairy Month. Vote for your favorite cheese and milk as we celebrate National Dairy Month.

Memory Cafés are sponsored by the Alzheimer’s Association; Legacies: Family and Organizational Historians; and the Fond du Lac Public Library. For more information about Memory Cafés or Alzheimer's disease, contact the Alzheimer’s Association 24/7 Helpline at (800) 272-3900.
