Programs for teens in March

Programs for teens in grades 6-12 at the Fond du Lac Public Library in March, all are free:

  • Books to Movies. Noon Saturday, March 3. The revamped teen book club focuses on the books that got Hollywood’s attention. March’s book, The Darkest Minds, by Alexandra Bracken, is a sci-fi thriller; the movie version is coming in September. Copies of the book are available now at the downtown library’s Main Desk. Book club is free; no registration required. Snacks provided.
  • Teen Library Council. 2 p.m. Saturday, March 3. Teens on the council help plan programs, choose prizes and give input on what materials the library adds to the collection. Participation in the council often counts for community service. With snacks. Free. No registration.
  • Recycled Tech. 4-5:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 27. Take apart old, broken or dated technology and reuse it to create something new. Space is limited; registration is encouraged and begins Monday, March 5, at, click Calendar; by calling (920) 322-3940; or in person at the Children’s Desk.
