Programs for teens in May

Programs for teens in grades 6-12 at the Fond du Lac Public Library in May all are free; none require registration:

  • Books to Movies. Noon Saturday, May 5. The revamped teen book club focuses on the books that got Hollywood’s attention. May’s book, Wonderstruck, by Brian Selznick, was made into a movie last year. Copies of the book are available now at the downtown library’s Main Desk. Snacks provided.
  • Teen Library Council. 2 p.m. Saturday, May 5. Teens on the council help plan programs, choose prizes and give input on what materials the library adds to the collection. Participation in the council often counts for community service. With snacks.
  • The Oreo Challenge. 6 p.m. Monday, May 7. Blind taste-testing of the myriad Oreo flavors: can you tell which is which?
