Three Good Things by Wendy Francis is a debut novel set in the Madison area. Due to popular demand, the Fond du Lac Public Library now is offering two additional How to Sell on eBay classes on Tuesday, March 12, at 1:30 p.m. and repeated at 6 p.m.
The presentation will walk through setting up an eBay account and listing an item for sale.

Susan Wiggs is my go-to author when I need a lift. I'd been feeling a bit under the weather for the past week so I scooped up Return to Willow Lake, her latest in the Lakeshore Chronicles series. You can tell from the majority of my blog posts that romance is my favorite genre, but Return to Willow Lake is so much more than just a romance novel. This is a book about family and what's really important in life. Sonnet Romano has always been an overachiever. She works in New York at a worldwide agency that helps underprivileged children.
The eat-local trend is mushrooming, with proponents such as food journalist Michael Pollan suggesting that buying local food conserves energy, supports farmers and preserves the natural landscape.

Works by local painter Nina Schmidt will be on display at the Fond du Lac Public Library gallery through the month of March. The exhibit, Today: The Smallest Moments Linger, reflects Schmidt’s life as an artist, mother and wife.
“Art can be functional, livable and beautiful,” Schmidt said. “But it should also tell a story.”
Using a wooden birdhouse, upcycled children's books and lots of glue, you can create a one-of-a-kind indoor decoration at the 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 20 Crafternoon program, Storybook Birdhouse. The program for adults and children in middle school and older at the Fond du Lac Public Library is free, but space is limited.
