The culmination of a lifetime creating art will be on display in the exhibit, Sharon Konz Garrison 25 Years of Art: Retrospective, March 4 to April 1 at the Langdon Divers Gallery at the Fond du Lac Public Library.
It’s fun to make something usable from the stuff you have lying around. That’s the idea behind the Upcycled Glam Accessories Crafternoon program at the Fond du Lac Public Library 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 21.
Like many communities in the early 1900s, Fond du Lac struggled with how to care for orphaned or abandoned children. Fond du Lac decided that rather than send these children to big facilities in bigger towns and cities, they would care for them here in the Children’s Home.
Half day at school? Party at the library! Kids ages 6-12 are invited to an afternoon party at 1 p.m. Friday, March 6, with Battle-It-Out-Bingo, snacks and the showing of the movie Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day. Free. No registration.
