Pieces, Paint and Passions, an exhibit in mixed media by Fond du Lac artist Bonnie Ann Gleason-Federman, will be on display at the Fond du Lac Public Library’s Langdon Divers Gallery from January 6 through February 3.
The public is invited to a reception 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, January 14, at the gallery. Refreshments will be served.

The Fond du Lac Public Library will hold its annual Mega-Zine Sale January 2, 4 and 6 at Chapter 52 Bookstore. Bundles of magazines from 2013 will be sold for 50 cents each and will include such popular titles as Vanity Fair, Shape, Outdoor Life, Country Living, Sports Illustrated, Reader’s Digest and Wisconsin Sportsman.
Succulent plants seem to be everywhere these days, from party favors to home décor. Crafters at the Fond du Lac Public Library’s January 16 Crafternoon class will use air-dry clay and twine to make a hanging planter for a mini succulent. All supplies provided, including plant.
