You've just finished the latest Diary of a Wimpy Kid or Worlds Collide, the final book in The Land of Stories by Chris Colfer. Your first thought after you're done with the book is "That was awesome!" quickly followed by "Now what?" Trying to figure out what book to read next can be a challenge. Luckily, the library can help! The library has a number of tools that can help you find your next favorite read.

Through the whole week in the Children's Room:

  • Turkey Treasure Hunt - find all the turkeys hidden around the room and earn a prize
  • Turkey Activities - matching games, coloring sheets, and more
  • Guessing Jar - guess how many candies are in a jar for a chance to win a big prize bag

As everyone knows, Santa and Mrs. Claus love to read, so nobody’s surprised that the duo’s making a stop at the Fond du Lac Public Library. Their visit is just one of the great events for kids at the library in December. All programs are free. Only one requires registration. For all, children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult:

Holiday HQ: Chapter 52 Bookstore

Chapter 52 Bookstore, located at Sheboygan and Marr streets next to the Fond du Lac Public Library, is rolling out the bargain carpet for holiday shoppers.

Out and About in the County

We love visiting! The past month or so, youth services staff have had a blast getting out in the community. We go to school events, day care groups, community events, and more!
