Call to artists extended

Fond du Lac Public Library has extended the deadline on artists’ proposals for the creation/fabrication of a unique piece to be installed in the Main Library downtown. The library wants to commission a piece that would recognize persons who donate money to the library.

The proposals must creatively solve the following requirements:

BookCellar needs volunteers

It’s a hidden gem in the basement of the Fond du Lac Public Library. The BookCellar, the city’s only used book store, supports the library through the sale of books, movies, magazines and more.

Express open 7 days/week starting May 1

The branch will be open seven days a week: 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. The branch previously had been closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
